Have you ever heard of Amazon? No, not the river, famous for its mammoth anacondas and deadly wildlife. We’re talking the biggest Amazon out there…Jeff Bezos…”One Company to Rule Them All”…Yeah, we thought so. It’s a pretty big brand.
In an unexpected turn of events, The Brothers Ralph performed four concerts at the LAN2 Amazon Fulfillment Center in Lansing and had a blast! We rocked out covers of Cage The Elephant, The Black Keys, Sublime, Daft Punk, Willie Nelson, and Bill Withers, and even snuck in a reggae version of “Frosty the Snowman”, and our own original, “Like That”. The employees were grooving/enjoying their Cracker Barrel Thanksgiving dinner and some quick downtime from their rapid-fire schedule at the facility. We were blown away by the scale of the fulfillment center and are very grateful to the employees for delivering our consumer products so efficiently around the world every day, but especially as Christmas and the holiday season approaches.
These performances were such a great learning experience for us and also provided us with massive exposure to the Lansing community. In a former life, Spencer served as a Human Resources professional and met many impressive individuals along the way. We want to give a big shout-out to one of those individuals, Aarean Wooten, Site HR Manager, for hosting us, and providing us with exceptional service throughout the week. The sky is the limit for her…potential Chief Human Resources Officer, no doubt.
We are for hire! If interested, please reach out to us at thebrothersralph@gmail.com or through the “Hire TBR” inquiry section on our website.
Next up: Horrocks on Friday (12/6/24) and then a private Christmas Party singalong with acoustic guitar and double bass at the Robinson home the following day (12/7/24). Then, it’s all hands on deck for the newest Ralph to enter the world. Life is good!
See you soon,
The Brothers Ralph
